Up way too early. Nightmares, bad ones. Been a while since they were bad enough to make me not want to go back to bed.

I need to learn to stop depending on people to do what they say they will do. Sadly, it seems that they let me down, more often than not. I just tend to allow myself to trust too quickly, or to take people up on offers when I either know they have a history of flaking out or don't know them well enough to know they won't. The reality of my situation just came crashing down on top of me, and it wasn't pretty. Being where I am made it worse (and factored into it). Took a little time to pull myself back together. I knew this was coming, but damn, it wasn't fun. Just gotta hold it together and really get my shit straight.

It's bad enough, waking up with just a short bit from a song stuck in your head. Worse, though, when the song doesn't actually exist.

Sometimes, I'm concerned about me. Other times, I just roll with it.

Man, what a day. 9 of us cooking, this year...and that's not counting the two who roasted a whole pig. Food, food, and more food, good times, and perfect weather. I'm sure bellybalt will post his photographic evidence soon, so there'll be pix to come. For now, I'm completely beat tired.
